Just a quick note to let you know we're still hard at work this holiday season! 

PRODUCT RELEASE

For those of you receiving Abattoir 8 for Roll20 as one of your rewards, the adventure is live on the Roll20 marketplace, and we've emailed your unlock codes!

You can now login to your account and enter the code to play Abattoir 8 on Roll20! Please be aware that you will receive the code only if you have completed your survey.

Abbatoir 8 for Roll20 is no longer available in the pre-order store; however, if you would still like to own Abattoir 8 for Roll20, you can purchase it directly from the the Roll20 Marketplace, here:

UNFINISHED SURVEYS

As of today, 65 Backer surveys remain uncompleted. This is a fantastic rate of response. Grimmerspace backers are the best! However, without a completed survey we can't send you your backer rewards. Those of you who haven't, please fill your survey out as soon as possible. It only takes a few minutes! And if you haven't received your Grimmerspace survey, please check your spam, and If it's not there let us know! We'll resend it right away.

UPDATE: Early Delivery of Beginner Boxes and Core Rulebooks

Just a quick note to let our Backers know that over the Thanksgiving break we shipped out the last of the Starfinder Core Rulebooks and Starfinder Beginner Boxes to everyone who paid for early delivery. They should start arriving soon!

Just a quick update to let everyone know we’re in motion and what's new this month:

For a start, drafts from designers continue to come in. We’ve had turnover from Shanna Germain and James Sutter to name a few. We're happy to report adventure designers are meeting their  proposal milestones. We’ve seen progress reports and adventure outlines from Greg Vaughan, Adam Daigle, and others.

Equally nice to see, Owen Stephens (former Starfinder Design Lead and Development Lead on Paizo’s recently released Character Operations Manual) is progressing on schedule for the Grimmerspace character classes and races. We've finished an initial development pass with him and look forward to the next draft!

Last but not least, our monster makers keep reporting in with updates and drafts, including from from Hal Maclean and Stephen Glicker; not to mention, the unsolicited monsters we've received. Some of these have been so good we couldn’t resist! More on that in a future update.

And, last but not least, Rone and I have of course both dug in hard! Rone is currently focused on the next draft of our core book, Grimmerspace Settings and Adventures, managing artists and art orders, and developing freelancer content. I’m currently focused on freelancer management (contracts, providing resources, etc), developing freelancer content with Rone, and various behind-the-scenes business tasks.

To that end, we’re happy to announce a couple of items:

• We paid Paizo, and they sent the Core Rulebooks and Beginner Boxes to our fulfillment vendor, along with a list of who gets what. Fulfillment expects to ship those to everyone who paid for early delivery by the end of November as expected. We’ll keep you posted if there are any changes.
• We sorted the costs (panned out as expected, no surprises) and a production plan with Yarro Studios and decided to absorb some minor warehousing fees in order to get Tanner started manufacturing the Grimmerspace Immersive Battle Map books sooner rather than later. This doesn’t impact delivery dates, but we’ll just feel cozy knowing the books are sitting at our fulfillment center and ready to go. We don't expect any tariff issues, but they are printed in China so the sooner we have them in our greedy hands, the better. We’ll keep you posted about the manufacturing and shipment cycle for these books as we learn more from Yarro, but again, looks like smooth sailing and we're just being extra careful because... why not?
• Abattoir 8 for Roll20 is finished and ready to go! We just paid Roll20 for the Unlock Keys for those of you who purchased Abattoir 8 for Roll20. Assuming we receive those from Roll20 in a timely manner, our hope is to put those in the hands of backers before Christmas. We’ll keep you updated as we know more, but no one foresees any hitches.

Finally, we’re thinking about shifting to (roughly) weekly text updates, even if just to say that there’s nothing new to report but we’re working away. And then we’ll punctuate those with the occasional video update. We think that’ll be an easier (if less visual) way to report progress more often.
